Jillian Michaels is a Personal trainer born in California. She has risen to popularity through her work on weight-loss reality series the biggest loser and through her range of exercise DVD's.
Jillian came to work in this area through her own experiences of being overweight when she was younger, getting fit through martial arts and then commiting herself to helping others lose weight.
Jillian combines different techniques to aid weight loss including kickboxing, yoga, pilates and weight training.

This Jillian Michaels exercise DVD was originally released in 2007 but still remains a firm favorite. Following the workouts it may be possible to lose up to 20 pounds in 30 days using a combination of 20 minute workouts of cardio, strength training and ab workouts.
The 20 minute work outs get gradually more challenging as your fitness increases this ensures you don't plateau and become bored of the same workouts. It will continually challenge you.
The workouts are fast paced which is designed to burn fat and sculpt muscle effectively. Ideally you will need some small free weights (3 to 5 lb. dumbbells) for the workouts but you may wish to start off with no weights and build up to using weights depending on your fitness level.
Jillian is both demanding and supportive in this DVD.
